Laguna Beach

Laguna Beach was our first stop on our California road trip. We had a late start since I had to work really late the night before so we ended up arriving at sunset and grabbing a late dinner. 

The next morning we had breakfast at Banzai Bowls and shared a huge acai bowl that I am still craving. It turned out to be cloudy and windy with scattered showers so we drove around to explore and marvel at all the houses located cliff side. 

When the sun decided to peek through the clouds and the rain stopped we headed to the Montage Resort to take a walk on the beach and enjoy the beautiful grounds. The property and grounds are stunning and would not hesitate to book a stay here. 

The downtown area of Laguna is a window shoppers dream and I could not help myself from popping in the many art galleries that line the streets. 

I love the laid back beach vibe. It was exactly what we needed after a couple of crazy work weeks for the both of us. Even with the undesirable weather we had a great start to our California adventure.
